Quantum is no longer science fiction, it’s here and now

BosonQ Psi won the award for “Most Innovative Startup – Future Tech”

Bengaluru/New Delhi, June 1, 2022 – Quantum technologies are dramatically changing our lives and integrating new age insights with industry demands is a need of the hour according to Abhishek Chopra, Co-Founder and CEO of BosonQ Psi (BQP), starting a simulation software powered by Quantum. Last Wednesday, he was invited as a speaker at TiE Bangalore’s annual flagship event, Global Summit – Matrix Forum.

“The quantum-powered computer-aided engineering (CAE) paradigm will allow enterprise customers to perform complex simulations in far less time than traditional software using Quantum computers. While traditional methods of running simulations, such as high-performance computing, will soon reach physical barriers, quantum computing is the next technology in line,” says Abhishek Chopra, Founder and CEO of BonsonQ Psi.

Engineering simulations are an important part of the product life cycle (research, design, development and testing) in various industries including automotive, aerospace, manufacturing, energy, biotechnology, construction, electronics, pharmaceuticals and even consumer goods. “Performing these simulations with high accuracy can sometimes take months. For most of these industries time to market is a crucial aspect and sometimes to achieve this they sacrifice product quality as they are not able to perform high precision simulations. We have to think about the next generation of these simulations. he said.

To enable next-generation engineering simulations for these industries, BosonQ Psi recently released the MVP version of its BQPhyTM software. BQPhy is equipped with high-precision CAE solvers that are integrated with BQP’s proprietary quantum algorithms. These algorithms are very difficult to develop, implement and test on current Quantum computers.

“In less than two years from inception, we have not only developed these Quantum algorithms, but have also integrated them into our CAE solvers and further tested them as part of the proof of concept with customers,” he added.

BosonQ Psi also won the “Most Innovative Startup – Future Tech” award by TiE Bangalore and Matrix Global Summit.[AC1]

This year’s TiE Global Matrix annual flagship conference sparked discussions around Future Tech. It brought together companies, startups, governments, and investors to discuss the latest happenings, research, commercialization, and early success around technologies such as Quantum Computing, MetaVerse, and Spacetech.
