Apple TV+ has made the global debut of the highly anticipated series “Pachinko” ahead of its worldwide premiere on March 25.
The series, which premiered three of its eight episodes on Apple TV+, is based on Min Jin Lee’s 2017 bestseller, sometimes faithful to the original, more often with a connection – weak, even global, with the events, themes and tone of the book.
Today at the Academy Museum in Los Angeles, Apple TV+ celebrated the world premiere of “Pachinko,” the highly anticipated international drama series starring Oscar-winning actresses YuhJung Youn, Lee Minho and Minha Kim and more, and created and produced by Soo Hugh (“The Terror”, “The Killing”) on March 25, 2021.
